Mirella Fiore joined BMO Life Assurance Company (formerly AIG Life of Canada) in August 2008 as Business Development Manager. She was promoted to Senior Business Development Manager in 2012 and was appointed Regional Vice President for Eastern Canada in 2016. Known for her direct and transparent leadership approach, in May 2021 Mirella was named Vice President, Business Development for BMO Life Assurance Company. She is responsible for leading the business development team to successfully develop and execute BMO Insurance’s business plan nationally.

Prior to joining BMO Life Assurance Company, Mirella held various management roles in areas including group insurance and group pension, as well as the management of a sales team in the individual life insurance division with a prominent captive insurance company.

Mirella has bold and effective communication skills and is especially not afraid to challenge the status quo. She has tremendous integrity and self-awareness and sets an example of accountability for her team members. Mirella is known to promote teamwork, learning, and growth.

Mirella holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University and an MBA from John Molson School of Business.
